| WELCOME to Sonlight. In case
you have not figured it out, the title of the Youth Ministry section is
making reference to Jesus the Son, who called himself "the light
of the world." This page wants to help bring that light into your
life.
Florida is the Sunshine State, and the Archdiocese of Miami (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe Counties), is blessed with beautiful beaches, where everyone can experience the warmth of the sun's rays almost every day of the year. We want you to experience the warmth of our people, of our local Church, and of our ministry to, with, by, and for young people. BIENVENIDOS a
Sonlight! Nos alegramos mucho que leas nuestra página, nuestra
información en español es limitada, pero si hay personas
interesadas podríamos
aumentar el material.
Nuestro título se basa en el juego de palabras en inglés entre "son" (hijo) y "sun" (sol). Por lo tanto, al pronunciar Sonlight parece que estás diciendo: "Luz del sol", pero realmente queremos decir "Luz del Hijo," refiriéndonos a Jesucristo que dijo: "Yo soy la Luz del mundo." Esta página quiere ser luz en tu vida. La Florida es llamada "El Estado del sol brillante" y la Arquidiócesis de Miami (Miami-Dade, Broward y Monroe o los Cayos) ha sido bendecida con hermosas playas donde podemos disfrutar del sol casi todos los días del año. Queremos que conozcas a través de nuestra página el colorido y el calor de nuestra gente, de nuestra Iglesia y de nuestro ministerio de jóvenes.
